Project Life 2014: Week 8

I can't tell you how thrilled I am that I've been staying up to date with my weeks so far.  I know we're only two months in, but I really feel like I've got a pretty good routine down and hopefully I can continue with it all year.  For week 8 most of what I used comes from the gorgeous The Good Stuff collection by Karla Dudley (link in credits).  I also decided to try a mix of color and black and white photos.  I like this look, though I'm not sure it's something I'll do every week.

Finishing Up February

Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it's the last day of February! It's been a while since I've shared some layouts.  First up is this two page spread with photos from last 4th of July.  I think it may be my favorite holiday.

This is another Just Jaimee page, created earlier this month.  It was the perfect kit for these photos of my kids getting frustrated with each other.

Pages like this one are some of my favorites - I interviewed my son on his birthday earlier this month and recorded it here.  The photo was also taken on his birthday.  This page was featured as part of an article I wrote for the MSA blog.

Project Life 2014: Week 7

It took me nearly a week - but I finally finished my week 7 spread! Just in time to start week 8 ;)   I'm just happy I squeaked in tonight so that I don't feel too "behind" and the guilt sets in! This week was my sons birthday (SEVEN!), Valentine's day, and even a selfie from a crappy day.  Real life, folks!

Project Life 2014: Week 6

I'm suffering from a slooooow laptop as of late. Debating between upgrading the RAM, or just getting a new machine (this one is 5 years old). Decisions, decisions! So what I'm saying is, my scrapbooking has slowed down as well.  It's just not as much fun when you have to wait 10-15 seconds for a file to open, or watch that little wheel spin for a bit every time you click. Somehow I managed to power through and finish up week 6 yesterday.

Project Life 2014: Week 5

For this week I was inspired by the February DigiScrap Parade, and most of what I used came from there. While I'm still not super thrilled with the overall "look" of my pages, I absolutely love the process of pulling the pictures and stories together.  And that's what this project is really about for me.  I mean, how much fun is it to see all the different princess dresses in this spread?! Those are the little things I love capturing with project life.
