It's a Week in the Life kinda week...

Happy Monday!

I started the day by rolling out of bed and snapping a pic of my alarm clock, and that can only mean one thing: a Week in the Life! I haven't done this project since summer of 2011, so I'm excited to do it again.  For me, the Week in the Life project means taking lots of photos, writing down everything I do each day in a notebook, uploading all my pics at the end of each day, and after the week is over I pull it all together.  I do a two page spread for each day, highlighting my favorite photos and make a list of the things we did that day. I usually just make a simple photo book, and don't use much (if any) scrappy papers or embellishments.  It's all about the photos + words for this one.  Probably my favorite project ever.  To find out more about A Week in the Life, check out Ali Edwards site.

I have a couple of recent pages to share today too.  First up is a layout I made for the template challenge at My Scrapbook Art.  Come play along with us! You'll receive this free template, plus a chance to win an additional prize!

Wrapping Up August

I made a goal to complete all seven of the Lilypad challenges this month - and I did! Well, sort of. Technically I posted my final page 2 hours too late, but it was still August where I live, LOL. Although I missed the deadline, the important thing is I got them all done.  I posted three of them here earlier, but here are the last four.
