In the Knick of Time

Today is the last day of the Lucky in Love contest! Here is my final layout.

Love to Learn
Create a page with photos of 3 THINGS you love or are lucky to have. These cannot be people. Think about hobbies, interests, collections, etc. Choose items that really represent you. Crop your photos to the same size.

Pot of Gold

I'm almost done with all the lucky in love challenges - only one more to go! Here is my latest:

Pot of Gold
You have two journaling options for this challenge. Choose either one.

1) Create a scrapbook page about what you would do if you found a pot of gold. You can substitute the words “found a pot of gold” with anything similar such as, “had a million dollars”.
2) What is worth more than gold to you? Create a scrapbook page where the journaling involves explaining your answer. Again, you can substitute the word gold with diamonds, money, jewels or anything similar.

Family Tree

Here's my latest challenge for the Lucky in Love contest:

Lucky Idea
You are so lucky! You get to take a fun class from Alisha Shaw! Join us as we learn how to create fun shaped photo collages on our pages. Complete the project given in class.

To do this challenge you had to take the online class to learn how to fill a custom shape with pictures. This page took a lot of thought and effort (and time), but it was fun to learn something new and try a different technique.

One Year Later

My Zach just turned four years old, but I finally got his 3rd birthday scrapbooked today. I have been wanting to get all these pictures and memories documented, but stuck on exactly how to do it. I actually don't worry too much about scrapbooking everything, and I certainly don't go in chronological order... it stresses me out. I just do what I feel at the moment. But it is always a great feeling when I get one done that is important. This is also for one of the "Lucky in Love" challenges:

XOXOXO
Create a scrapbook page with a repeating pattern of some sort. This must be a pattern you create.

The tags, circles, and ribbons are my repeting elements.

More Luv...

Today I took on this challenge:

I Love You
Create a scrapbook page about a person you love. Any kind of love is fine; it doesn’t need to be a romantic love.

The journaling reads:
Not many people can truthfully say they love their dentist the way I can. Sure that shot still hurts and my face is annoyingly numb (notice the lopsided smile?) , but there's just something about him...
It's so cool to see him hard at work doing something he loves. Plus, he looks super sexy in those glasses!

And I just had to do it... I added a title and some journaling to this layout:

{"I love... my dentist": papers and brads from Digital Scrapbook Memories "Playground" CD; white heart from Digital Scrapbook Memories "Family Ties" CD; "Harting" and "321 Impact" fonts}

{"Peek-a-boo": everything from Digital Scrapbook Memories: black paper from "Back to School" CD; paint strokes from "Oh Boy" CD; paperclip from "Collection One" CD; notebook paper and tape from "Family Ties" CD; "Cry Kitty" and "Harting" fonts}

Luck of the Irish
Change at least two Digital Scrapbook Memories papers or embellishments to green. Click here here if you need to learn how. Use these papers or embellishments to create a scrapbook page. The green parts of your page can be small if you like.

Signs of Valentines

This is my first layout for Digital Scrapbook Memories "Lucky in Love" challenge. I posted about this earlier, but it's going on between Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day, and there are all kinds of challenges to scrapbook and great prizes to win! For more info, click the link in my sidebar.

Valentine Color Challenge:

Create a scrapbook page using pink, red and white. You can use other colors too, but pink, red and white should be the main colors on the page.
